Over his award winning career, Erik has been a general assignment reporter, political reporter, airborne reporter, traffic reporter, news anchor and weather anchor.
The Chicago native is a graduate of Grambling State University in Louisiana.
His career has allowed him to live and work in Texas, New Mexico, Florida, North Carolina, and Idaho.
When Erik is not reporting the news or researching story ideas, he's usually in the gym hitting the weights or preparing for bodybuilding competitions. If he's not in the gym, he's probably traveling to various places to take in the local culture and of course the local food.
Erik is also a huge sports fan who enjoys cheering on the Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Grambling Tigers and the Florida Gators.
