Megan joined the WDEF News 12 Team in February 2012.
She is originally from Zelienople, Pennsylvania just north of the black and gold city of Pittsburgh (Go Steelers, Pens and Pirates!).
For as long as she can remember, she has always been fascinated by thunderstorms and severe weather. This passion for weather took her to Millersville University of Pennsylvania, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology.
Megan was an intern at WTAE-TV in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Before moving to the Tennessee Valley, Megan began her career as the morning meteorologist at KTVO-TV in Kirksville, Missouri. She also had the opportunity to be the fill-in morning anchor, producer and one man band reporter.
