"These beautiful flowers are known as Miniature Amaryllis.  These particular flowers are descendants of my great-grandmother's flowers.  Her granddaughter, Dorothy, continued growing the flowers long after her grandmother Allison passed away.  Now, the torch has been passed to another generation for preservation and enjoyment!  My great-grandmother was known by me as Granny Allison, and we have accordingly named these family flowers "Granny Allison".  We are very happy to be able to share them with you!"
