The National Weather Service has concluded it's survey this afternoon in northern Hamilton County. The damage was indeed that of a, EF-1 Tornado that struck Friday afternoon with winds of 90mph. Below is the survey:

ASSESSMENT OF THE DAMAGE THAT OCCURRED IN NORTHERN HAMILTON COUNTY
ON FRIDAY. IT HAS BEEN DETERMINED THAT AN EF1 TORNADO WITH MAXIMUM
WIND SPEEDS OF 90 MILES AN HOUR...OCCURRED NEAR THE SALE CREEK
COMMUNITY.

Sale Creek tornado

I live about a mile from Sale Creek and was wondering where the tornado touched down on Mayflower road. I was home Friday and the storm was really bad. I haven't seen winds like that since I was a teenager which was many years ago.
