Get Ready For Cable Competition In Tennessee!

The Tennessee Senate approved a plan this morning that some believe will lead to cable competition in the state. By a unanimous vote, the proposal to create statewide TV cable franchising now goes to Governor Phil Bredesen's desk for approval.

Congressman Lincoln Davis Addresses Congressional Blame Over Housing Crunch

President Bush recently blamed Congress for several issues effecting the economy, saying the legislative branch has been dragging it's feet over proposals to address the housing crunch. Congressman Lincoln Davis joined me today on WDEF News 12 at Noon to discuss the housing issue.

"Moonlight" returns to WDEF News 12 Friday night, with all new episodes. The show features a vampire who moonlights as a private investigator, using his supernatural abilities to help the living. Alex O'Locklin stars as that vampire, Mick St. John.

I spoke with show host John O'Hurley today for WDEF News 12 at Noon and he revealed some of the features of the new show, "Secret Talents of the Stars." Clint Black is getting help from Gary Shandling for his stand-up, but Black is writing some of his own material too. Plus, George Takei from Star Trek will be trying his talent at crooning country.
