Krystal Square Off Season Returns, Watch Me Defend the Media Title Today

Let the games begin, or in this case, start eating.  Krystal Square Off season returns today with several opening activities planning, in advance of tomorrow's first regional qualifier in Chattanooga. 

I've spent the last couple of days reviewing the rule changes and cleaning out the system in preparation for today's Media Square Off.  You may recall I dominated the competition last year, scarfing down 8 Krystals in 2 minutes officially.  Unofficially, it was 9.  I lost credit on one burger for wiping bun residue off my mouth and tossing it on the ground.

Anyhow, Nick Bonsanto over at ESPN radio appeared on Pulse News, 95.3 FM yesterday afternoon to talk smack about how he planned to grabbed the title away from me this year in easy fashion.  I only have 5 words for Nick... 'how many medals do you have?'

I'd like to invite you to the Media Square Off, which gets underway today at 2pm at Ross's Landing on the Riverfront... unless your a Bonsanto fan.  You can follow the action on my Facebook page later today if you can't make it. 

And catch Brian Smith's attempt tomorrow to qualify for the World Hamburger Eating Competition in September.  He's one of the eaters in the Chattanooga qualifier.
