
Chicken Dressing and Giblet Gravy

Chicken Dressing
Boil chicken in large amount of water till done. Debone the chicken and save for giblet gravy.
Cook:
1 stick margarine
1 cup chopped onions
2 cups chopped celery
Mix with:
3 1/2 cups corn bread
3 1/2 cups biscuit bread
2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 teaspoons sage
1 1/2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
pepper
2 eggs
Chicken Broth (Jo Ann adds enough to make mixture thin)
Let sit 1 hour before cooking
Bake approx. 1 hour at 350 degrees or until done.
Giblet Gravy
1 stick butter
3 tbls. flour
add enough broth to thicken
Cook till you get the gravy thick as you want it then add:
1 cup chopped chicken breast
2 chopped boiled eggs
