Maybe it is God just hanging out, chillin enjoying the beauty of the universe. It is possible that there is life out there and that God put it there... BUT, Is it possible that God made such an infinite universe that "has no center and no edge" and Ours is the only planet the contains the preciousness of life? Wouldn't that mean that you indeed are a special, uniquely created individual, worthy of no duplicate or second try. God made you you for that specific purpose. Not to be your mom or dad, or anyone else. Just you. God is certianly not dumb.. He is smart enough to make us search our entire lives for something more. He give us hints, but only enough to make us unsure. This ensures the nessecity of faith. Besides that enough has happened on our little planet here to show it clearly.. So good luck to you.
