What is new about this picture, nothing. For years the Sheriff's elect has been proffitting from the peoples that elected them all over Tennessee. Have you ever know a shefiff to leave office broke.Very Few has. They get elected and start moving into new homes or large farms. Just look at any county around you. You might think the TBI would be involved but their hands are tied by the District Attornys Office or DA's Office. If the DA refuses to let the TBI get involved, what does that look like. Its not only the Sheriff's. I am glad the FBI started this but I hope they don't stop with just this one. And yes I am a proud Law Enforcement Officer. I live from pay check to pay check hoping nothing breakes. I to have desires but I can sleep at night knowing I have never taken anything from anyone. How many can say that????.
