Close proximity to attract more students?
Two questions beg to be asked...
1. Why would one assume a higher school attendance based on a close proximity for those who chose not to use buses that would've taken them to school in the first place?
2. If this new school is designed around "an intensive, college style setting, studying just a core curriculum, with no electives" for "students ages 17 to 21 who have not been successful in the traditional high school setting", then would a closer look at the past merits and achievements of the "traditional" setting be in order?
