Hi, im currently disabled and didn't work for the year of 2008. I filed using the EIC worksheet giving the option to have the IRS figure the amount(i'm sure a mistake). My concern is the main reason I filed was to get the remaining amount of my stimilus from 2008 and any possible EIC. I haven't had any update on either and am concerned because I can't seem to be able to check using their website seeing that I don't have an amount because I left that for the IRS to configure. Is there a direct way to get in contact or get a response from the IRS concerning this? Even the 1-800-# asks for my return amount. A number I have no idea on how to obtain. Can anyone help?
