There are new financial warnings for the state of Tennessee tonight. Governor Bredesen today said state government is now looking at an even bigger financial hole. With tax receipts continuing to lag... he's going to have to cut almost half a billion dollars from next year's budget. Today he told us by phone that even his pet project of pre-K education will take a hit. Gov. Bredesen "I am probably going to have to trim my sails in a lot of places that I would love to have them out full and blowing, but I'm going to figure out how to continue to grow this program. Even in a tough year here, I just don't know exactly where it will be yet."
