I received my stimulus payment notice and check but several of my relatives and friends received the notice but did not get the check. However, it is showing in the IRS website that they received the payment. How can they prove that they did not receive any payment? They did not cashed nor deposited any check in the bank. A lot of people are not aware of this and they may never find out or say anything. That could add up to huge amount in favor of the government. Could this be a way for the government to save money so they could compensate for the big bailout money ?
