I think that the government is messed up with the tax rebate check. Why is it that if you owe something there gonna take it anyways. To me that is defeating the whole purpose the money is not going to the economy it is paying off peoples student loans, back taxes, child support, etc. So is this really helping the economy? To me this is just helping the money that the goverment is giving us stay in the government, If you think about it how is paying off back taxes, childsupport student loans to me the money is being used to pay off debt incurred by the government, county or state and I think that is wrong, if you think about it paying off these debts are not helping the economy.
