Reply to Stay Peaceful
The fact is the terrorist that assaulted the United States are in the Afghanistan and Pakistani mountains and they continue to regroup and grow stronger while we waste time, resources, and lives in Iraq. President Bush and his cronies lead us into an unjust war while turning their backs on the real danger Osama Bin Laden. Instead of defending the United States from its enemies he turned aggressor and assaulted a sovereign nations; a rough nation with an obvious tyrant as a leader, but one that had nothing to do with the fall of the Twin Towers. I can not pretend to understand his motives; bravado, ignorance, revenge, or maybe bad advice. At any rate his motives withstanding, he is human and we all fall short of the glory of God. Gods grace is extended to us all and President Bush should be forgiven for his mistakes and for those sins he will answer to God. That said he is still responsible for his actions as a leader here on earth. He failed miserably, economically, socially, and as Commander-n-Chief. Anyone with the sense to recognize this is not unpatriotic nor are they uncooperative. We all should work together to solve our nations problems. I hope that whether Senator Obama or Senator Clinton win the election they will reach across party lines and peaceful peruse resolution to our nations problems. It is too bad President Bush did not follow your advice and "Stay Peaceful", he could have used the United Nation to resolve our concerns in Iraq and focus his attention on Bin Laden in Afghanistan. Maybe we would not be in the mess we are now.
