Bradley county investigators think they're a step closer to solving the mystery of what happened to Kathleen Wrinkle. The young woman disappeared in 1956.. While driving from Cleveland to Copperhill for a job interview.
It was an icy day in February... so investigators thought she may have slid off a road and into Parksville Lake.
Now after months of diving in the lake, authorities believe they have found her 19-51 Chevy Bel-Aire.
Divers retrieved a femur bone from the vehicle that is consistent with a young adult female.
The remains have been sent to a forensic lab in Knox County.
Investigators do not suspect foul play in the case... But they haven't ruled it out either.
