The only people affected by
The only people affected by the passing of laws are those who abide by them. Criminals will find a way to obtain weapons regardless of what laws are in place. To think that gun control will lower crime isn't sensible. All you have to do to find evidence of this is look at countries with gun control like the Australia and the U.K. and see if there are any crimes involving weapons going on there.
It all boils down to personal responsibility folks. It's kind of like blaming Budweiser for a drunk driver or Hershey's for weight gain.
