I'm not familiar with this particular incident. I don't see why there should be requirements to envelop youth within the clouds of the secular humanist religion of evolution and such. There is already too much of this view propagated in media - even public tv (Nova)- in most museums and such that deal with dinosaurs and the genesis of the earth. Public school indoctrination has already produced a generation of youth who are taught they are evolved and, therefore, are in the fight for the survival of the fittest. This indoctrination and brain-staining gives its subjects no higher meaning for living than to meet selfish needs and has no reason to develop a higher character as there is no culpability for any wrong that one cannot be convicted of or otherwise punished for. This mindset thus produces a generation of "animals" who are to make their mark in the world by whatever means possible - even if it is by destroying the lives of others as in school shootings. How many school shootings have there been in schools that teach primarily Creationism as their science model[question]. I know of none. I applaud this school for teaching truth to its students and no public school - sponsored by the government of the United States of America - has any Constitutional right to make any law or rules discriminating against Christians. The true problem, when we get down to it is a problem of the human heart. As Adrian Rogers said, "The heart of the human problem is the problem of the human heart." Ps. 14:1 "The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God" or may it be stated "No, God" "Jer. 17 - "The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked..." This is what it all boils down to in reality. It is the resistance of those who say no to God to those who say yes to Him - as Jesus stated in John 3, after the famous verse 16: For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son in to the world to condemn the world, but that the world...and this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world and men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil. Jesus says that folks come to the truth if they are willing to live in the light - willing to repent of their sins and be cleansed by the blood of Christ, but that those who will not, those who reject Christ Jesus, choose darkness and resist the Lordship of their Almighty Loving God and Creator. Thus, leaving Him no other role to play in their eternity except that of Judge. May God have mercy on you if that is where you are today.
