Rock Climbing in Chattanooga
Submitted by Collins Parker on September 17, 2008 - 10:38am. BONUS VideoIt's not just the title of the blog, it's also the name of a student film.
News 12's Brian Norris is a student at UTC.
Last spring, for a class project, he put together a mini-doc on climbers in our area.
We're so impressed with the results, we're going to show it to you online (with Brian's permission).
He shows us three different climbing options in our area.
And I bet most of us don't even know they're here.
We begin down on the river, where, for a price, you can climb the Walnut Street Bridge, the hard way.
Here is Part 1 of "Rock Climbing in Chattanooga."
You can climb the wall yourself on weekends (through October).
The Adventure Guild is set up on the north side of the river under the bridge.
For more information, go to Outdoor Chattanooa's website.
Next week, Brian shows us some indoor climbing in St. Elmo.
