Titan Radar continues to follow a cluster of storms in Southeast TN, moving to the east at 55mph. These storms have prompted warnings for Marion, Hamilton, Sequatchie, Bradley and Meigs counties till 4:30.
A tornado warning remains in effect for Monroe and McMinn Counties till 4:45pm.
Most of the viewing area remains under a tornado watch until 9pm. noted below.
While reports of heavy rain and gusty winds have been noted, the ONLY significant report this afternoon came out of Rhea county where a tree fell on school bus near Dayton, with NO injuries. There has been a few trees reported down near Whitwell. Storms will continue to develop quickly but remain scattered for a few more hours. The main threats continue to be large hail and damaging winds. An isolated tornado is still possible.
A cold front will sweep through soon, ending the stormy afternoon
Patrick will have the very latest tonight at 6pm.
Once again, I would love to receive updates of weather conditions via twitter. Find me at wxfamily1. As always we would love pictures of any significant weather at pictures@wdef.com. Just stay out of harm's way!
See you soon,
Brian
