The 2009 MTV Movie Awards got underway Sunday night with plenty of celebrities on hand such as Sandra Bullock, Cameron Diaz and Will Ferrell to name a few.

This year's show was hosted by comedian, Andy Samberg, of Saturday Night Live fame. The show is not your conventional awards show, especially with categories such as Best Kiss, Best Villain and Best Fight. But these aren't the only reasons the show is unconventional, as you can see here.
