health care for everyone?
When are people going to take responsibility for their own lives?
The thought of health care for everyone, just because we are one of the richest countries in the world leaves me lost for words. Imagine how rich we would be if we didnt have to pay for everyone elses kids? People who are unemployed with no health care that continue to have children. How about the people that get laid off and love it?
I recently overheard a consversation between a mill worker and her supervisor. The worker was stating that she wanted to be laid off but wasnt. I heard her say that she had seniority and should have been laid off. I always thought the opposite, just as the supervisor did.
The economy is bad. I understand that. The media needs to possibly report on why some of the people who are out of work came to be.
I am a working divorced father of one. I pay dearly, weekly to insure my daughter and myself. I work 50 hours a week and have been for the last 4 years. I am so tired of paying for other peoples kids, for their doctors visits and watching the cost of my health care rise to cover the cost. We need to hand out condoms and teach people resposibility, somethings their parents obviously failed at.
We would as a country prosper so greatly if everyone would use common sense, good judgement and take care of their own. I would hate to know that I had to depend on the govt to eat, provide shelter and make decisions for me. That seems to be where we are headed!
