"Red Neck's" response
I guess I am one of the immature rednecks you are talking about. I dip coppenhagen, drive a lifted 4 wheel drive truck, and like to drink a cold beer on my front porch after a long day at work. I also know right from wrong and what this kid was doing was wrong. He was running around with a gun shooting in an area with kids all around. This policeman was just doing his job. He did not want to kill that kid but the kid was pointing a gun at him. If I was in his shoes I would have done the exact same thing. I love how self-righteous people such as your self want to put people down that have opinions that are different from yours. I am not a real religous person but I believe if someone needs prayer you pray for them. It is not even a question of wanting to or not. And people are trying to make this a black or white issue. It is not. It is an issue of right and wrong and this young man was in the wrong. All he had to do was drop the gun but he did not. Instead he pointed the gun at a police officer the officer did what he had to do. Speaking for myself and probably all of the other rednecks out there you would never have the chance to become my friend because we do not associate with uppity self-righteous jackasses such as yourself. And for the person everybody is being so hard on about his spelling dont worry about it man you are entitled to your opinion just like everybody else on here. I hate that this kid died it is a tragedy and no one really knows what was going on with him even though I believe he was doing wrong it is not my place to judge him. He was just a kid and everybody should try to remember that. There is this redneck's two cents now everybody can start bashing if you want I can take it.
