Rain Totals and River Information. More Rain to Come.

As expected, area rivers and creeks continue to RISE.

S. Chickamauga Creek: As of 6am is 26.25. Crest is expected to be Tues PM at 26.5', however this could change. Watch the Creek rise and fall here.

Lookout Creek: As of 9am Tuesday is 14.8'. FS is 12, expected to crest at 15 this morning.

Other small streams and creeks will continue to rise and fall during every heavy rain event over the next few days. For ALL Watchs and Warnings, click here and click on your county.

We continue to watch Chattooga River, Coahulla Creek, Little Chickamauga Creek, Conasauga River and Mill Creek as they rise. Right now they are below frood stage.

Below is a list of rain totals, most are Sunday-Monday, unless otherwise indicated.

Chickamauga, GA: 8-9" since Sunday night. (TVA reporting 5.78 at midnight last night). Reports of standing water continue to come in over much of Dade, Walker, Catoosa and Chattooga Counties.

Chattanooga as of 10am: 6.74" This is from Sunday AM to Today. There are also reports of 4-7" from East Ridge to Brainerd and Red Bank. At this time Brainerd and East Ridge have had the worst flooding so far this morning.

LaFayette, GA: 5.80"

Trenton, GA: 4.82"

Sylvania, AL: 4.39"

Dalton, GA: 4.36"

Monteagle, TN: 4.13"

Blue Ridge, GA: 4.00"

Dunlap, TN: 3.19"

Cleveland. TN: 2.71"

Whitwell, TN: 2.29"

Many other locations have averaged 1-3" .

For the rest of today, expect MORE rain to move in later this afternoon and evening. An additional half inch possible by tonight, but scattered. Please remember to STAY OUT OF FLOODED ROADWAYS.

The rest of the week looks soggy, however, hopefully, we will see just isolated to scattered showers Wed-Friday before more rain moves in this weekend.
