
American Heart Association Start Heart Walk

Hundreds of people turned out Saturday for the American Heart Association's Heart Walk. Our very own News 12's Nordia Epps emceed the event. Three time pro bowler and super bowl champion Gerald Riggs and his son former University of Tennessee running back Gerald Riggs, Junior were also on hand to sign autographs and greet walkers. Participants could also get a free health screenings and take a turn on a heart healthy obstacle course. Frank Davis, Continued Care Health Services," I have family members that have battled with heart disease. More people than not are going to deal with this in their families and that's why we're here today." Funds raised today go toward education..community awareness and research.
