Students in the third through eighth grades averaged a "C" on T-Cap scores, while grades five, eight, and eleven posted an "A" in writing. School leaders warn Tennessee's new scale for calculating student achievement resulted in lower grades for some schools. " Students posted a "C" system wide on value added scores. That shows student achievement beyond what they're supposed to learn. See Hamilton County's Academic Acheivement Grades.![]()
Report cards went out to school districts across Tennessee Tuesday... And it's a mixed bag of grades for Hamilton County.
