Youth volunteers celebrated 'Random Acts of Kindness Day' Saturday. Students from the youth departments at Quinn Chapel AME and Warren Chapel AME Episcopal churches handed out hot sack lunches to people in need at Miller Park. Ivana Henderson was one of the volunteers at the event. She explains why it was important to take part in 'Random Acts of Kindness Day.' "It makes me feel good because I get to help somebody out who doesn't have what I have," Henderson said Saturday. Jassmine Perkins also gave out the free hot sack lunches on Saturday. She was proud of the work she did. "It makes me feel good. I was always into giving back, I guess. I like to help out other people," Perkins added. This is the first time the two churches have partnered to give out lunches for 'Random Acts of Kindness Day.' The students say it was such a success they will do it again.
