
Rain Leading to Flooding Problems.

Reports of 1-3" of rain have fallen this morning leading to Flood Advisories in Bradley, Polk, McMinn, Monroe and Cherokee Counties in SE TN and SW NC. The rest of the area is under a Flash Flood/Flood Watch through tonight. ViewWatches and Warnings here...
Tropical Storm Ida has made landfall and has become "extratropical" with no futher advisories being issued. She made landfall at 6:40am near Mobile, AL with 45mph winds. Most of the rain has remained northeast of the center. The center of the storm will stay well southeast, however the rain should persist through the afternoon with an additional 1-2" possible. Rain should come to an end later tonight. Pleae be carefull on area roadways.
