
Four Local Players Nominated For Mr. Football Awards

Four area high school football players were named finalists on Tuesday for the annual Tennessee Mr. Football Awards.
Baylor quarterback Jacob Huesman is one of three finalists for the Division II-AA back of the year. Ooltewah defensive end Jacques Smith is a finalist for the Class 3A lineman of the year. He won the award last season.
And South Pittsburg had two players nominated.
Jiajuan Fennel is up for the Class A lineman of the year, while quarterback Terrell Robinson is up for the Class A back of the year. The awards will be presented on November 30th.
