Taylor Swift's 3D Mag Cover, Snuggie Bashing, and Holiday Doggie Cards

Comments Below: 0

They've always said that Taylor Swift is quite the techno geek.  But her new magazine cover is taking it to extremes.

On Friday, the December issue of In Style magazine hits the stands with our girl on the front.

But the photo is just the beginning.  Hold the cover up to the webcam on your computer, and you'll get a special 3D, Holiday message from Taylor.  The magazine promises that she will leap off the page, with ribbons and snow falling all around!

Here's a link to see how it works.  And they'll probably post the message here after the magazine is out. Oh, and there's a clip about Taylor talking about her hair.

If you don't have the webcam, you'll just have to settle for the interview inside, including these "juicy" details of her movie shoot with New Moon actor Taylor Lautner....

“He and I have gotten really close,” she says. “It would be confusing on the set with two Taylors in the same scene. They were like, ‘Taylor, on your mark—no, not you, the other one!’  So halfway through the shoot, I said, ‘How about you guys call me Swifty and call him Taylor?’”

Let the Snuggie bashing begin!

You're bound to be bombarded this holiday season with Snuggie ads.. you know, the blanket with sleeves.

It's the Chia Pet of the aught years.

Now Ad Age magazine shows us the backlash has begun.  Check out this Snuggie ad that suddenly turns into something else.

The ad is running in Canada right now.

Of course, there's a much surer way to end up with a pet holiday card.

Head down to the McKamey Animal Care and Adoption Center this weekend.

For $20, they'll shoot a CD's worth of photos of your pet with Santa.

And the proceeds will benefit animals at the shelter.

The hours are 9AM-3PM on Saturday and Sunday.

Sounds like a great way to customize your Holiday Cards this year.
