The Tennessee Supreme Court denies a request by Howard Hawk Willis to obtain a new attorney, after he decided to represent himself.
The Chickamauga, Georgia man stands accused of killing and dismembering the bodies of two Walker County teens.
Authorities found the remains of Adam Chrismer and Samantha Leming in a lake and storage facility in 2002.
Willis has evaded trial by dismissing over a half dozen defense attorneys.
The court's decision means Willis will have to represent himself at trial. He has 10 days to ask the court to reconsider.
