INFO. ON REGULATIONS FOR GAS STATIONS ON PREPAYED GAS PURCHASES
For some reason about all of the gas stations in Calhoun Ga. how gone to prepayed status. What I have found though is a vast difference where the pump cuts off before reaching the prepaid amount. Example: Some stations cut pump off as little as 25 cents before reaching prepaid amount and some stations its as much as a dollar before reaching the prepaid amount.I am wanting to know where I can find out about the government regulations reguarding the legal allowed pump cut off range for gas stations. Some how this doesn't seem right because that companies can get away with this. Anyone with common sense knows that companies are beating patrons out of gas doing this! A way to see this is by using a clear container and prepaying for gas ...watch the gas flow and see when pump cuts off and the slowing of the gas flow after pump shuts off before reaching amount purchased! If anyone can help me to find out more about this please let me know!
