Argument leads to fatal stabbing

CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee (WDEF)- A late night argument between two people escalated into violence that left one person dead and another in jail accused of murder.

Chattanooga police arrested William Morris Jr., 66, of Chattanooga for the murder of Alexis Lewis, 51, of Chattanooga.
It happened late Friday night on the 100-block of East 20th street.
According to investigators, Morris stabbed Lewis in the chest after the two got into an argument.

His bond was set at $600,000 and he's due in court May 20th.
