CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee - Police believe one man is responsible for a string of convenience store robberies.
The robberies occurred on Sunday from 1:35 AM t 3:44 PM.
A kangaroo store on the 6900 block of Lee Hwy was first hit at 1:35 AM. An hour later, a Tiger Mart on the 3500 block of Hixson Pk was robbed. By 2:30 AM another Kangaroo store located on the 5500 block of Hwy 153 was targeted. By 3:45 AM, the Kangaroo Express on the 7000 block of E. Brainerd Rd. was robbed.
Police say the same suspect may have committed all four robberies after he entered the stores and went to the restroom. When he came out the restrooms, investigators say he was always armed with a knife and demanded money.
The robber is described as being being a 6'0'' tall, thin built man with a mustache. He was wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans. Investigators believe he may have fled in a red vehicle.
