6 tons of snow will be delivered to Mellow Mushroom Waterside's parking lot Saturday.
The restaurant off of Shallowford Road partnered with Dodge City Ski Shop in Chattanooga for the first ever snowboard rail jam. There will be a snowboard competition from 4-10 pm, live music, several giveaways and entertainment. More than 20 snowboarders will compete. The event will raise money and awareness for Tennessee Riverkeeper. Steve Gilbert, Dodge City Ski Shop Manager said, "We built a very intense jump off ramp. Its city code, commerical code. We want to do it right. We anticipate a lot of people doing this."
Representatives hope to be able to do this mulitple times a year in the future.
