If you're attitude towards snow is the same as sledders in Chattanooga, you probably had a pretty good day.
Some Sledders at Renaissance Park on the North Shore chose to ditch the traditional sleds and take on kayaking down the hills
"The kayak just works real good cause it's got a nice smooth bottom and it just glides real good over the snow," said Ricky Leun
Residents say It was a much better snow day than we've seen before...since the stress of treacherous roads and franticly picking up kids from school wasn't a factor.
"I would say we're more prepared than last time cause the roads aren't that bad. No ones panicking, freaking out," Logan Henley said.
Heritage High and Middle School students Isaac and KK Miller would much rather be having one of their epic snowball fights than sitting in a classroom.
"I love to play in the snow I just can't describe it," Isaac Miller
And smaller kids like Ariel Burton got to enjoy their first memorable snow, although the snowman, maybe not so memorable.
"Ours fell over but that was because it wasn't perfectly round so maybe that was our fault but the snow's good, makes good snowballs," said Jaci Burton.
