"Keep Dalton-Whitfield Beautiful" held their first ever costume swap.
Families could bring in an old costume they had and exchange it for another gently used one. Organizers say its not just about saving money, it's also a great way to recycle. Liz Swafford, "Keep Dalton-Whitfield Beautiful" said, "Halloween costumes are very expensive and usually turn out to be a one time use item, so instead of just using something once and disposing of it, it's more environmentally friendly to use it again. Donate it, swap it out for a different costume. That can benefit somebody else."
There will be no more swapping until next halloween, but if you want to still donate a costume contact "Keep Dalton-Whitfield Beautiful."
