(WDEF) At 5:30 pm Wednesday evening, a neighbor called 911 reporting a house fire at 9334 Smith Cemetery Road in the Dallas Bay area.
The Dallas Bay Volunteer Fire Department responded and arrived on the scene reporting flames through the roof.  Chief Markus Fritts of the Dallas Bay VFD requested a Mutual Aid response for additional manpower.
The Red Bank Fire Department responded to the scene.
Firefighters quickly attacked the fire and extinguished it from spreading throughout the entire house.
No injuries were reported, but Hamilton County EMS Medic 12 was on the scene for any potential injuries to firefighters.
The cause of the fire is undetermined and will be under investigation by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.
Steve Hendrickson, the renter, stated the Electrical Power Board (EPB) had been at the house turning on the power an hour prior to the house catching on fire. Damages are listed at $50,000.
The homeowner, Jerry Summers, who owns several rental homes, was on the scene.
