More carpet, more workers, and more money going into the Shaw Industries facility in Dalton.
To be exact, $100-million to expand the distribution center and Fiber extrusion operations.
Shaw officials say they plan to create 175 new jobs with the expansion.
Dalton Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Brian Anderson says that's huge news for their recovering economy.
"Our schools will have more revenue, our city and county will have more revenue. And we'll have more jobs in this good company expanding in our region,"said Anderson.
Anderson said Dalton lost about 40 percent of their taxable income revenue over the past four years. but he's been confident things would start to improve.
This expansion is setting them on that path.
"It's a further step in a recovery that we knew was coming. And now it just shows some stability to that recovery," he said.
