CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee(WDEF) - An overnight drug bust sent five people to jail.
Natasha McGhee, 27, Kerry Clemons, 33, Johnny Henderson 23, Jonathan Henderson, 26 and Patricia Hakim are all facing multiple drug charges along with other felonies related to the bust.
According to a police affidavit, Chattanooga narcotic detectives observed Natasha McGhee driving into a parking lot on the 7300 block of Brainerd Road. The reportedly saw a young child get out of the vehicle and walk to an apartment where Patricia Hakim threw a bag from.
Detectives reportedly knew McGhee was driving on a suspended license and pulled her over.
Once detectives started searching her vehicle, they reportedly found 4.4 pounds of marijuana, 490 Xanax tablets, digital scales and $4,000 in cash.
Detectives then obtained a search warrant of Hakim's apartment where they reportedly found several illegal fire arms, an assortment of ammunition, drug paraphernalia and a wallet that belonged to Kerry Clemons.
McGhee, Hakim and Jonathan Henderson were all arrested at the scene.
McGhee was also charged with child endangerment.
According to the affidavit, police then got a search warrant of a home on the 3900 block of Yorktown Road. They were looking for Clemons who left his wallet at the apartment where Hakim, Henderson and McGhee were arrested.
When detectives knocked on the door, they reportedly heard someone running inside so they forced entry into the home where they reportedly found Clemons in possession of illegal narcotics. Detectives say they also found Johnny Henderson in possession of 3.5 pounds of marijuana.
It was at the second location where detectives also seized $1,252 in cash along with an illegal firearm and body armor.
It's unclear if all five suspects have obtained an attorney.
