17 warrants and 10 arrests in one day, it's the result of a hard days work of rounding up people with outstanding warrants in East Ridge.
"I got a seven year old kid so the more bad people off the streets the better for me and my kid.  I don't want nobody breaking in my house in the middle of the night," said resident Chris Swafford.
Corporal Robert Wade says these warrant operations don't happen very often...but it's a good way to team up the SWAT team and fugitive division to lighten the load of outstanding warrants.
"There were some aggravated domestic assaults some domestic assaults there was an aggravated burglary, there was a false imprisonment.  There were a few driving offenses, driving on revoked I think was one of the minor ones that was served and then they had a few of the felonies too," said Wade.
Now residents can rest easier knowing their streets are a little safer
"The police department is working.  The special teams are working. The fugitive division, we are working," said Wade.
