HomeServe Adds 100 Jobs in Chattanooga, Hosts Job Fair

Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam and Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bill Hagerty along with HomeServe USA officials announced today the company will expand its Chattanooga, Tenn. operations. The expansion will add an additional 100 customer service positions in Hamilton County and represents an investment of $65,000.

“I want to thank HomeServe USA for its investment in our state and the new jobs created in Hamilton County,” Haslam said. “Our Jobs4TN strategy places emphasis on existing Tennessee businesses, and today’s announcement brings us one step closer to our goal of making Tennessee the No. 1 location in the Southeast for high quality jobs.”

“Incumbent Tennessee industries are an integral part of the communities they call home, and I appreciate HomeServe USA reaffirming its commitment to the citizens of Hamilton County,” Hagerty said. “Expansion decisions are made after careful and thoughtful consideration, and this announcement shows a tremendous vote of confidence in the area’s quality workforce and the state’s favorable business climate.”

“As the leader in providing homeowners with emergency repair services for plumbing, heating, electrical, hot water and air conditioning systems, HomeServe USA is uniquely focused on customer service,” HomeServe USA CEO Tom Rusin said. “Having a world-class customer service center is the hub of our business. We’ve found that Chattanooga is a wonderful place to do business and look forward to adding new members to our customer service team here.”

HomeServe offers emergency repair service to more than one million homeowners in the U.S. and Canada. The company partners with many of the nation’s leading water, gas and electrical utilities to offer their services, and in select areas, service plans are provided directly to homeowners under the HomeServe USA brand.

The company will host a job fair June 4-6 from 3-7 p.m. at 1232 Premier Drive, Chattanooga, Tenn., 37421. Interested persons can also apply online at http://www.homeserveusa.com/Careers.html.
