The recent job fair took place at the Northwest Georgia Trade and Convention Center in Dalton.
Leaders from a number of different businesses came to explain what jobs are available right now.
And top Georgia officials also came to the event to lend their support.
Georgia Lt. Governor Casey Cagle says the job fair is important to North Georgia.
"Really allowing kids all over the region to come and really experience career fairs, and see the different careers and pathways available."
Cagle went on to say, "For us to build this economy, we gotta' have workforce. And companies that will locate in our state when they understand and realize we've got workers that are trained, that are ready and passionate and prepared to do the jobs of tomorrow."
