Erlanger Hospital is celebrating after local Kohl's Department Stores offered them more than 61-thousand dollars.

That money will go towards Children's Hospital's injury prevention program. For the last six years Kohls has been donating money to help the hospital. And to celebrate the cause .. Both groups held a safety fair. They gave away free bike helmets, let children tour a real fire truck, and decorate cookies. Charles Smith, Kohl's District Manager said, "We raised it through the sales of charitable merchandise at our stores. It can be plush animals, cd's, and it's great all the proceeds go to local hospitals like here."

Since 2006 Kohls has donated more than 292-thousand dollars to Children's Hospital.
