(WDEF) A group of local filmmakers work to capture the magic and madness that is Black Friday shopping.
During Thanksgiving week last year, filmmaker Leif Ramsey followed an avid shopper and a store Santa to chronicle their Black Friday habits.
The film is nearly complete, but Ramsey ran out of funding before the final cut.
So now the Southern Adventist grad turned to Kickstarter to finish the financing.
Ramsey hopes the Scenic City will help.
He explained, "It's a local film, it follows local characters, like, they are all Chattanoogans and we shot all the project here in the big retail centers around the city."
Ramsey's goal is to raise $35,000 by December 15th.
