The Dalton man accused of assaulting a Steak-n-Shake employee turned himself in.
66-year-old Larry Bruce Mitchell did it after seeing his surveillance picture in the news.
The assault happened at the Steak-n-Shake on West Walnut Avenue in September.
Mitchell entered an employee-only area speaking loudly about the lack of service he'd received.
When the manager asked him to step back, Mitchell hit her in the face with a stack of papers.
Mitchell faces one charge of simple assault.
