CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee - (WDEF) Chattanooga police are investigating a murder that occurred late Saturday night on the 4800 block of Swan Rd.

Police say Timothy Bumpass,37, was found shot to death inside his car in the parking lot of the Lakeside Youth Sports Complex.  The vehicle came to a stop after knocking down a garbage can and hitting a sign.

On Sunday detectives arrested Kristopher Lebron Bell,20 and Christopher Jennings, 19, for their connection to the shooting. Both men are facing first degree murder, aggravated robbery and criminal conspiracy charges.

Several neighbors told WDEF the area is a relatively quiet neighborhood so to hear about a murder came as a shock to them.

One neighbor told WDEF he heard up to three gunshots but didn't see what happened.
