When we first met Rachel Price she had just been diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma.
Her determination and support from her classmates helps her through her fight.
Now, almost a year later, she hasn't slowed down.
Erlanger Childrens Hospital named Price one of their 2013 Miracle Kids as part of their annual tree lighting ceremony.
An honor presented to nine child patients that have overcome incredible obstacles in an incredible way.
"Its been a long year and so to get this at the end to know that I made an impact on people around me, it's really great to know," said Price."
You can still find Rachel on the Basketball Court for Sale Creek High School.
"Actually I have a basketball game tonight that I'm about to leave here and go to."
She also plays volleyball and is a cheerleader, even through her weekly chemotherapy treatments
Rachel's mother Dana Price says, "She has never given up and she has kept on going and just determined that she'd gonna live her lift to the fullest whether that's with basketball in college or whatever it might be."
Rachel and her mother are looking forward towards the future with the same high spirits they've had all along.
"Just getting through the last four treatments I have and finding out where I'm gonna go to college what I'm gonna be and just celebrating with my family that I'm done finally," said Price."
