The remarkable irony here is that in a nation with an identified life-or- death problem, such as bad cholesterol levels among a significant percentage of citizens, would price the medication so high as to be unaffordable to those who may die from the lack of that medication. Some high cholesterol levels are congenitive; others occur because people have different levels of rolerance to high cholesterols, which are usually high in needed protien. Do not get the idea that people can rid themselves of high cholesterol simply by changing their diets and exercise patterns. The drugs companies should not be allowed to decide who lives or dies fro0m hogh cholesterol.

I do not see any thing on the CRPT. This measures the inflammation in the veins and arteries. It's the inflammation reacting with the cholesterol that causes the problems. The heart association has said the CRPT is an essential test to evaluate the risks of clots for each individual.
