A former Chattanooga Police Officer will not face charges after allegations he was drinking at Riverbend.
But, his supervisor will face a suspension.
Officer Steve Jones was accused of drinking while on a city owned motorcycle.
An internal affair's investigation reveals Jones' blood alcohol level was .07.
That's below the legal limit so no charges will be filed.
Jones retired from the police department after the allegations so there will not be internal punishment either.
His supervisor, Sergeant Chad Sullivan, was the traffic commander at the time of the incident.
He has since been removed from the traffic unit and suspended for 28 days without pay for failure to properly supervise.
